Hot Tub

  • Please shower/rinse off before entering to remove any oils, sunblock, dirt, etc.. $75 fee will apply for abnormal use. $250 fee will apply if the hot tub is determined to be excessively dirty/cloudy and requires draining and refilling (don’t spend a day floating the river or mountain biking, loaded up with sunscreen and hop into the hot tub please).
  • Always check water temperature BEFORE entering hot tub. A max temperature of 102 degrees F is recommended (we have it set to 101 in the summer)
  • No glass around the hot tub
  • No sitting or lying on hot tub cover
  • Hot tub use with alcohol is not recommended
  • Hot tubs are NOT recommended for young children or pregnant people.
  • KEEP COVER CLOSED WHEN NOT IN USE
  • Hot tub use is not recommended for more than 20 minutes
  • Most of the information below is posted on the wall next to the hot tub.
  • Please keep hot tub covered whenever it is not in use. This will protect against falling tree debris and help keep a constant temperature.
  • It takes about 15 minutes to raise the temp 1 degree.
  • Please know the spa may cycle on and off 24 hour a day. Do not be alarmed that you cannot turn it off completely when you leave the hot tub.
  • There straps with buckles to hold down the cover. You do not need to fasten them. Please make sure the back buckles are not connected before you slide the cover back.
  • Step in the hot tub and fold the cover back half way (away from the deck). Use the steps provided to enter the hot tub. Once inside, with assistance of cover lifter, you will be able to lift and slide the folded cover back and out of the way (by the lunger seat wall). Keep pushing till it does over the back edge. It will not fall on the ground.
  • The hot tub is set to 101 degrees. To change it, press the + or – buttons at the control panel.
  • Please do not use the “mode” button. It is for cleaning and servicing.
  • Jets: there are two buttons for the jets. “Jets 1” is a three-speed button that controls the lounge and seat #3. You press to toggle between low, high, and off. These jets automatically cycle on and off (on low) to keep the temp of the hot tub constant. Because of that, when you exit, you may not be able to turn to the off position, only low. That is fine. “Jets 2” is one speed and controls the balance of the seat jets.
  • Lights: the light button can be pressed repeatedly to change color of the light. Please turn off after every use. Once for off, twice for new color.
  • Air Dials: there are 4 small manual dials you turn to add air to the jets. They are all labeled. Please keep in off position when not using the hot tub. This helps to maintain the temperature.
  • Jet Dials: there are 2 large manual dials you can use to direct the flow of the jets. They are labeled.
  • There is a weekly service that cleans the hot tub on Thursdays. You may see them during your stay.
